Our friends at the Miracle League passed along information about a great fundraiser that is easy for everyone. Here is the message:
The Miracle League is happy to announce a Dining Out program that will run each Tuesday through the month of October. Each of the restaurants named on the attached flyer will donate 20% of your bill to the Miracle League each time you eat in or take out from their restaurant on Tuesdays in October.
Tuesday's are busy at our house trying to get dinner. What better way to help a great cause than to order some takeout from one of the businesses above and get the kids to practice on time!

This morning (Saturday 9/26), the Indians hosted a small party with some friends from the Woods School. About a dozen kids came out to have some fun playing football with Coach Galasso, Barnes and Pedrottie's Junior Midget team. The boys did some football drills together and it was a real nice time. This event was supposed to take place during bowl day, but unfortunately it was rained out and today was our make up day.
The Indians are working with the Miracle League to raise money for a sports field in our neighborhood. The field will be for special needs kids to play sports (football, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, etc). Sometime soon, the Miracle League is going to have a table set up during our home games to try and raise money for this field. I hope that we can all show our support for this cause.

This years Family Bowling Night at the brunswick zone was a lot of fun! The Indians showed up in force and bowled up a storm! The event was a great success and everybody had fun.
Coach Kranzel's team won the spirit award party for having the most bowlers sign up!

Some of you may already know and some may not. Jim Ricchini (one of our coaches from coach Carter's team) is being treated at Jefferson Hospital for Leukemia. Everyone in the Indians organization is hoping for a quick recovery.
